Snoring

When the soft tissues of the upper airway collapse and vibrate against each other as air attempts to move through the passageway, it produces the sound we call snoring. It is frequently dismissed as harmless, yet annoying. Not everyone who snores has sleep apnea but if the snoring ends with gasping or choking it is indicative of sleep apnea. To determine if your snoring is harmless or associated with Obstructive Sleep Apnea you should be properly diagnosed by a sleep physician through a sleep medicine center to get onto the path to a more restful, healthier sleep!
