Our Dentists
As active members of the dental community Dr. Carol Ysidro and her colleague, Dr. Omar Barakeh, dedicate themselves to their profession by working hard to keep abreast of the ever evolving technology. They strive for excellence through continuing education and investment in advanced technology. They are passionate about patient care and conduct themselves with the highest level of respect, professionalism, and integrity. Their goal is to enrich the lives of their patients through preventive, restorative and cosmetic procedures.
Mission of Mercy
One way that Dr. Ysidro supports the community is her involvement with the Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM) which provides free dental care to thousands of people a year. Dr. Ysidro was one of 1000 Kansas dentists who treated a total of 2,659 patients at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.
Patients without access to dental care can come to the Mission of Mercy’s two-day clinics offered once each year. Patients are treated on a first-come, first-served basis and are not pre-screened for eligibility based on income, age, disability or lack of dental insurance.
KMOM has treated more than 10,600 patients in services valued over $4.4 million through five projects in Kansas. The Kansas Mission of Mercy is sponsored by the Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation.
